In & Out Driveway, Bookham
This driveway was overgrown and neglected at the start of the works. The house was barely visible from the roadside and there was only space to park one vehicle. During the redesign process, we suggested that a horse-shoe shaped ‘in and out’ driveway would open up the house and would be a good and safe solution to access the road. This style of driveway can be remarkably cheaper than the usual block paved or tarmac finish.
The completed driveway consisted of 20mm shingle infill with block paved edging and both mouths of the drive also being block paved. Cleft fencing and ‘Red Robins’ then form the centre feature point of the driveway with new turf laid out the front section.
